This fist-sized guava is no stranger to Asian supermarkets and market fruit stands. Despite its addictively crisp and mildly sweet white flesh hidden within, it’s easy to pass it over in favour of a more well-known fruit. However, guavas are healthy fruits with a deliciously crisp texture and mild flavour that refreshes the palate. Guavas have been known to contain more vitamin C than oranges and are rich in antioxidants such as lycopene which are essential for a healthy immune system and healthy skin.
