With a nickname like nature’s candy, it’s no surprise that raisins were often the chosen substitutes for additive and sugar-laden candies during our childhood. Tiny golden chewy morsels made from dried grapes, our Natural California Yellow Raisins retain their plumpness but have a much more concentrated sweetness thanks to the elimination of moisture. Our raisins are dried at controlled temperatures and humidity levels for a fruitier, lighter flavour and extra plump raisin. Yellow raisins are also said to contain higher levels of flavonoids in addition to being packed with energy and rich in phytonutrients, fibre, vitamins and minerals. Raisins are also naturally sweet and cholesterol-free, they can aid digestion, boost iron levels and help maintain healthy bones.
