Its energizing fragrance not only helps drive away mosquitoes but is also frequently used in spas and massage parlours to invigorate tired muscles and relieve feelings of anxiety which cause muscle tension. Lemongrass essential oil helps soothe stress as well as alleviate other related issues such as anxiety and depression. It may also help quell feelings of nausea. Applying it topically may also help with mild pain relief due to its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.
