Carlos Steenland is an Australian sailor, carpenter, and builder. In 2011, he sailed with his family. 🛥️ 🌊🪸During his travels upon the seas, Carlos saw the devastating impact of plastic pollution which inspired him to start The Sea Monkey Project, which aims to address the plastic pollution issue through plastic upcycling and waste management education.

🌎 The Sea Monkey Project builds recycling machines, creates upcycled products, and provide employment and training hours to marginalised communities🧒🏻👦🏻, as well as customising educational programmes to raise awareness on sustainability and plastic pollution.🥤
