Travel 101: Slay Your Beach Vacay

It’s been almost forever since most of us have travelled so it’s only fair to say that we’ve also most probably lost our touch when it comes to packing. If you’re planning to get your buns out in the sun this holiday season, we’ve come up with 5 key essentials you absolutely need for your beach vacay!

1. Sunnies. 🕶️
They don’t just level up your look but also protect your eyes from the harmful UV rays so that’s a huge win-win. Choose from a plethora of designs out there and your beach OOTD is sure to be complete!

2. Beach hat. 👒
Beach hats have been all the craze in recent years for obvious reasons. They’re gorgeous, fabulous and conveniently protect your face from a sunny day! Pair your classic straw hat with your swimsuit or and be prepared to stand out from the crowd.

3. Swimsuit. 🩱
This doesn’t need an explanation. Monokinis have been quite the hype this year so try getting your hands on some neon coloured ones as a nice pop of colour when on the sandy beaches. You can also always pair it with some short or leggings to cover up, whichever you are more comfortable with.

4. Sunscreen lotion. 🧴
If your sole purpose of heading to the beach is to sunbathe, you’ll still not want to forget some sunscreen as it can be incredibly harmful to your skin to be exposed to the sun for hours. They also protect your skin from spots or pigmentation. Get your hands on either a cream or gel-based sunscreen, depending on your skin type and you’re good to go!

5. Beach towel. 🐚
Majority of the time, your hotel or resort provides one for you but there’s no harm in bringing some extra. These towels can be used to either wipe yourself dry or to simply get all the sand off your body before entering your car!
