Befrienders
Befrienders KL is a non-profit-making organization that provides emotional support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to people who are lonely, in distress, in despair and having suicidal thoughts - without charge.

The organization is multiracial, non-dicriminatory and non-religious organization that is just a phone call away from anyone in distress regardless of your age, religion, race, gender or sexual orientation.

All of their employees are trained to carefully respond to your worries and each conversation is treated with respect as strictly confidential. Additionally, callers are welcomed to remain completely anonymous for a worry-free support session.

Malaysian Mental Health Association (MMHA)
MMHA is a non-profit and non-governmental organization registered under the societies act 1966 MMHA which is managed by an elected committee of interested persons and professionals in the community, including caregivers of persons living with mental disorders. They provide support via their phone line on any mental health issues. MMHA also has qualified mental health professionals ie. clinical psychologist, and counselors providing psychological support services.

Women’s Aid Organization (WOA)
Paving the way for women’s rights and protection in Malaysia, WAO opened Malaysia’s first shelter for battered women and their children. They also provide a safe haven for abused wives and girlfriends, single pregnant women, abused domestic workers and trafficked women. Their trained social workers provide free and confidential telephone and face-to-face counseling to survivors of domestic violence, rape and many more. Aside from this, they also accompany women to the police station, court and immegration office to seek justice. WAO empowers women to live a safer and happier life.
