2022: Let Go, Let Live.

Hello 2022. May the new year bring you an abundance of beautiful opportunities, moments and experiences. Before stepping into yet another blessed year ahead, we want to encourage you to let go and let live. Let go and acknowledge the thoughts that are holding you back from living your dream life. It sounds easier said than done and truthfully, for the most part, it is. Yet ironically, at the same time, little changes can be made to ease this process of growth for you.

Here are some fears to let go of before welcoming the new year.

1. Fear of failure
Majority of our society, particularly as we are a part of the Asian community, are constantly fed with the thought that we need to have everything together. Failure is deemed unworthy when in reality, it is a learning opportunity that everyone is going to have to go through throughout their life. Let us not perceive failure as negativity but rather as an opportunity to grow and get better.

2. Fear of judgement
With social media being at the forefront of most of our lives, it is extremely important to not lose our identity. It can be easy to feel demotivated or discouraged looking at picture-perfect moments but let us also be aware that this is oftentimes, not the case at all. Do not be afraid of what others may think of you. You need to carve out your own path in life, one that you are fully happy with and in control of.

3. Fear of change
Firstly, know that this is completely normal. Growth happens outside of our comfort zones so sometimes, you will find your potential when you wander and experience changes in your life. No matter how uncomfortable that may feel, know that it brings you one step closer to realizing your true potential.
