Painting The Town Pink with Lihuà

This Pinktober, we wanted to do something a little more different to celebrate both the beauty and strength of the female body. We brought together Malaysian artist and fashion illustrator, Lihuà for a guided painting session with 10 inspirational Malaysian celebrities and entrepreneurs – For we believe art is a truly beautiful way of expressing one's emotions and experiences.

As an artist who draws so much inspiration from the female form, Lihuà explains her take on why celebrating Pinktober is important, saying “October is a month to highlight the experiences of breast cancer patients and survivors as well as those with a high risk or genetic predisposition for this disease. They all have stories and experiences to share from this journey, that’s why it’s important for them to feel connected and heard and to feel strong again.”

100% of the proceeds made from each painting will be donated to Cancer Research Malaysia (CRM) to further fund cancer research, especially among the Asian community.
