Recipe: Date Milkshake (That Perfect Ramadan Drink)

Ramadan is one of the holiest months of the year in the Islamic tradition. It involves refraining from eating or drinking during the day time hours. Abstaining from food and drinks throughout the day may cause your body to lose liquids and lead to dehydration.

This drink is the best way to avoid dehydration in an effective manner. It is a delicious drink to have whenever you crave for something that is sweet and healthy. It is filling due to its high fiber content.

INGREDIENTS:
- 12 dates of your choice
- 2 cups of milk
- honey, to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Remove the pits from dates and chop them for smoother blending process.
2. Add the chopped dates and 1/2 cup of milk.
3. Blend the mixture until smooth.
4. Add the remaining of milk and blend again.
5. Once it is well-blended, serve them in a cup.
