#BeAUniquecorn Breast Cancer Awareness 2021 Virtual Event

“After 3 weeks of my diagnosis, I met a woman who at that time was a 19-year survivor. She was such a good sense of support for me; just her presence was enough,” said Ranjit Kaur – President of Breast Cancer Welfare Association (BCWA) Malaysia.

The social stigma surrounding breast cancer is still very prevalent among our community. There is a sense of lingering fear surrounding this disease simply because of the lack of education and awareness. Self-checks and early detection besides having a comforting support system are crucial to preventing this.

To show our support for Pinktober, we are honoured to be working alongside BCWA and Under Armour to launch an empowering virtual event for all our beautiful, strong ladies out there. The virtual event will encompass an educational talk by Ranjit on the importance of early detection, an insightful sharing session by breast cancer survivors and a yoga workout session by Under Armour ambassador and Malaysian celebrity, Atilia Haron.
