Recipe: Organic Chia Seed Mee Suar with Mushroom

Mee sua is usually served during festive season such as Chinese New Year as it symbolize longevity. Having mee suah for breakfast on the first day of Chinese New Year has been a tradition for most Chinese families. It is a thin wheat noodle that takes around five minutes to cook. Out of idea how to cook mee sua during Chinese New Year? No worries!

INGREDIENTS:
- 10 pieces Signature Market's Organic Shiitake Mushroom (pre-soaked, sliced)
- 2 eggs
- 2 cloves of minced garlic
- 3/4 chopped onion
- 100g of chicken breast (optional)
- 50g of Signature Market's Natural Black Fungus (pre-soaked, sliced)
- 3/4 tablespoon of sweet soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1.5 teaspoon of sesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon of Signature Market's French Live Sea Salt
- 11 cup of mushroom water
- choy sum
- 2 bundles of Signature's Market Organic Chia Seed See Suar
- seaweed (optional)


INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Fry the egg and slice them into strips for garnish.
2. Heat up some oil and stir fry the garlic until fragrant.
3. Add onion and stir fry them until translucent.
4. Add chicken beast and stir fry.
5. Add mushroom and black fungus and stir fry.
6. Add sweet soy sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, pepper and salt and stir them.
7. Add mushroom water and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat.
8. Blanch the vegetable and cook the men sue according to instruction on the packaging.
9. Coat the cooked mee sua with 1/2 teaspoon of sesame oil.
10. Pour the sauce with meat and mushroom on the mee sua. 11. Place the egg and vegetables. Garnish the dish with some seaweed.
