[GIVEAWAY] Organic Hawaiian Fried Rice | with Organic Five Grain Rice
Welcome to Signature Market! Again, Shyan from GoClean will be teaching you how to make delicious yet healthy recipes for you and your whole family to enjoy. Today we are making ever-so popular pineapple fried rice. I love making fried rice because it is so quick and yet so satisfying to eat! And, this pineapple fried rice is suitable for vegetarian!
Before we start cooking it, i will need to list out few important things to make a successful pineapple fried rice. First thing.obviously is the pineapple. I prefer to use fresh pineapple is.. this fresh pineapple has a nice tartness that goes better with the savoury food. Canned pineapple soaked in syrup and it is way too sweet and wet. Remember, we don’t need too much water for the fried rice. If you are using canned pineapple, just make sure you rice off the excess water before you cook it. it helps a little bit.
Another important point is your rice. If you are cooking rice specifically for fried rice, here are some useful tips for making good rice;
Tip number 1
wash few more times to get rid of the excess starch which will make your rice sticky.
Tip number 2
use slightly less water to cook your rice compared to what you usually do.
Tip number 3
let it sit in your fridge overnight which dehydrates your rice, and it is easier to separate during you fried your rice.
Most important tip number 4.
Use five grain rice instead of white rice. This contains of : Organic Brown Rice, Organic Red Rice, Organic Buckwheat, Organic Millet and Organic Black Rice.
It gives high energy, nutrients, minerals, vitamins, and it provides a great texture specifically to this fried rice.
Ok here's what you need;
1. Soy Sauce
2. Garlic
3. Onion
4. 2 Eggs
5. A bowl of Mixed Peas
6. Pineapple
7. 2 teaspoons of Organic Turmeric Powder
8. 2 teaspoons of Ginger Powder
9. 2 teaspoons of curry powder
10. Raisins
11. Cashew Nuts
12. Organic Five Grain Rice
Let's get started!
1. First of all, roast the cashew nuts from signature market. Cashew nut is the soul of the pineapple fried rice. Make sure you toast or bake it to golden brown.

Eating a handful of cashew a day boost your immune system, helps to maintain good health of bones, aid in curing cancer, helps to lower risks of formation of gallstones, promotes formation of red blood cells, reduce risk of anaemia and type 2 diabetes.
2. Mix all the dry ingredients together. quarter tsp of turmeric powder, quarter tsp of ginger powder, 1 tsp of curry powder.
3. Stir fry garlic with olive oil until light brown and we pour in the rice. lets fried for 30 seconds to 1 minute until the rice coated with garlic oil evenly.
Don’t blink your eyes, this is a very fast cooking session and you don’t want to miss it. Bring up the heat to the medium high, put in the spices and soya sauce and stir fried again for another 1 minute.
4. Now, let's push the rice to a side, and we going to make scrambled egg beside the rice. Sprinkle a little bit of olive oil, eggs in. and now we scramble it. Be fast, you don’t want to turn it to fried egg. Before the egg turns hard, cover them with the rice.
5. Keep stirring your rice and put in half tsp of Sugar, and the rest of the ingredients such as pineapple, organic raisins, corns, green peas. Again. Try your best to stir it for another 1 minute.
6. Platting time. Serve fried rice into the pineapple bowl. top with the roasted cashew nuts and some extra raisins.
